I hadn’t seen her Criterion picks - you can really see the influence of those directors on her own work. Also pleased that you embedded A Girl’s Own Story and Peel. I’m going to give them a watch this weekend for sure.

Sweetie – haven’t seen it. Need to watch this immediately. It looks astonishing. Holly Hunter is perfect in The Piano. It’s one of the most powerful performances I’ve ever seen as well. Just perfect. And Paquin, well, that’s one of the all-time great child performances. It’s remarkable to watch her in that and realize how far she pushed herself.

Really, great post here, Mara.

Saludos Mara. Siga con esos interesantes proyectos.Marco Méndezhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04375525561903812543noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1852648492324688061.post-8865278882698371222014-05-01T03:07:30.306+02:002014-05-01T03:07:30.306+02:00Another mesmerizing post! gorgeous pictures from t...Another mesmerizing post! gorgeous pictures from the films, though from these I've only seen The Piano.
